KENTUCKYCAN PRESS RELEASEThe KentuckyCAN board of directors is proud to announce the appointment of Karen Napier to the position of Associate Director for Resource Development. In this position, Karen will provide professional-level support to the Executive Director in organization and facilitation of KentuckyCAN activities, including grant writing and proposal development. Karen will work closely with the Executive Director to make KentuckyCAN a viable, sustainable entity long-term.
Prior to joining KentuckyCAN, Karen served as the Director of Health Initiatives for Kentucky Child Now. She is a highly experienced project manager and trainer who has demonstrated the ability to lead diverse teams of professionals in a variety of highly competitive organizations and fast-paced environments. Karen has strong technical and management qualifications with an impressive track record of more than 17 years of hands-on experience in strategic planning, business unit development, project management, and system development. Karen has a bachelor’s degree from Purdue University and a Master’s degree from Kent State University.
As the Associate Director for Resource Development, Karen will have office at the Prichard Committee in Lexington. On behalf of the board of directors of KentuckyCAN and the entire KentuckyCAN membership, please join me in welcoming Karen Napier to the valuable work of providing college access and success programs to the youth and adults of Kentucky.
