- Promote a statewide a college access campaign designed to increase the postsecondary education enrollment and retention rates of Kentucky’s population.
- Encourage high school and pre-high school preparation that increases the chances of postsecondary education success for all students, particularly those who currently struggle to enter and succeed in postsecondary education.
- Provide ongoing coordination and networking of existing educational outreach, college access programs, and other community-based, education-related initiatives now or hereafter in place in Kentucky.
- Support the creation of new college access programs to serve local communities and targeted to low-income, underrepresented, and first-generation college students.
- To identify gaps in college access services statewide.
- To speak with one loud voice raising awareness of the need and value of postsecondary education.
- To impact in a positive way the “college-going” rate in Kentucky, particularly among minority populations and adult learners.
